Established in 2000 with the help of daughters Joni and Janis in honor of their father's legacy, the Tom Nixon Youth Fund contributes to numerous youth sports in Vienna to continue Tom Nixon's lifetime of community volunteerism.  Mr. Nixon was a founding father of the Vienna Pigtail/Ponytail League, which was later renamed Vienna Girls Softball League!

The Optimist Club of Greater Vienna was established in 1955 and has been serving the greater Vienna Community for over 50 years. Vienna Optimists conduct community service projects and provide a helping hand to youth through scholarships, awards, sponsorship of educational and school activities and by recognizing accomplishments of the youth of our community
